COMMERCIAL STANDARD OFFER PROGRAM
The Commercial Standard Offer Program encourages service providers to offer
energy efficiency products and services to the private sector therefore reducing
energy consumption for non-residential customers in the Oncor service area.
Service Provider eligibility
This program offers incentives to energy efficiency service providers who install
eligible energy efficiency measures at a facility with non-residential electricity
distribution service provided by Oncor. Service providers that are independent companies/contractors
are eligible to participate. This may include:
- National or local energy service companies
- National or local companies that provide energy-related services or products
- Retail electric providers
- Self-sponsors whose commercial -Peak Demand exceeds 50 kW
Project eligibility
To be eligible, projects must include:
- An Oncor approved Energy Efficiency Measure
- $500 minimum savings for Deemed Savings projects, and $10,000 minumum savings for Measurement & Verification (M&V) projects
How can I participate?
Service providers will be required to submit the following information as part of
the application process:
- A description of the service provider firm, including relevant experience, areas
of expertise and references
- Evidence of good credit, which may be demonstrated by its credit rating
- Proof of applicable insurance, licenses, and permits
- Completed Agreement
